Abstract	This manual is designed to train teachers on the peer coaching process in two teacher workshop sessions. Information is drawn from the activities and outcomes of the Interactive Peer Coaching/Mentoring (IPCM) Project, a program designed to prepare teachers of students with severe behavioral disorders (SED) residing in a rural, remote area in North Dakota. The first session in the manual provides an overview of peer coaching. The second session presents information about effective teaching and then takes learners through the 10-step process of peer coaching: (1) meet your partner, (2) decide who will be coach and who will be the person being coached, (3) understand your roles, (4) define measurable student outcomes, (5) brainstorm for ideas on how to collect data, (6) design data collection sheets, (7) set dates, times, and places, (8) coach observes the student teaching, (9) coach provides data from the observation to the student, and (10) student uses the data to change teaching behavior. The training sessions are designed to last approximately one hour, including sufficient time for questions. The accompanying notes are used to explain the basic ideas behind the slide masters. (CR)
